Thanks to residents of Crib Point, Hastings, Bittern, Balnarring, Somers, Somerville, Tyabb, French Island and local community support, this has made Crib Point Medical Centre a great success. It is going to celebrate its one year anniversary on 30th April, 2010. Residents have supported and used its facilities as soon as it opened its door. Over 5500 patients have chosen to use services provided by centre. Clinic management is pleased to announce that - A pharmacy has opened next to CRIB POINT MEDICAL CENTRE to provide convenience to its patients and CRIB POINT residents.
- DENTIST has joined CRIB POINT MEDICAL CENTRE and start seeing Patients.
- Dr.(Prof) Remi Guibert, would join the clinic to provide services to its patients and help in reducing patient waiting times.
CRIB POINT MEDICAL CENTRE has been contracted by Defense to provide GP services to Defense personals during Christmas break period upon presentation of ID cards. Clinic has been accredited by AGPAL and would come possibly the first clinic in Australia to achieve accreditation within first two months of opening. Clinic is also able to provide appointments to all its patients within 24 hours, which is a great result for its patients. Clinic is located near intersection of Stony Point Roadand Disney Streetat Crib Point behind Crib Point Shops. Crib Point Medical Centre is open from Monday to Friday between 8.30AM and 6PM and Saturday from 1PM to 5PM. New Medical Centre offers comprehensive integrated medical services, which could be referred by other medical practitioners in Peninsula region. The centre offers the services of a physiotherapist, dietician, podiatrist, audiologist, remedial massage therapist and three psychologists. The medical centre also has in-house pathology collection. Clinic doctors are supported by three practice nurses and offer a full range of general practice services. A vast range of services are available at Medical Centre with a large focus on preventive health, obesity, skin checks, immunisation, travel medicine, (including vaccinations and medical travel advice) and women's health.
