Yeppoon Family Practice in partnership with the community has provided quality health care to the communities of the Capricorn coast since 1975. Under the umbrella of Yeppoon Family Practice, situated in the CBD of Yeppoon, we have two other practices and a school clinic on the Capricorn Coast. As at the 1st February 2011 all clinics will be fully private billed, provision at the practice allows for direct medicare access giving our patients instant medicare rebate back into their own bank accounts after payment of their consultation. The Principal practice is Yeppoon Family Practice situated in the heart of the Yeppoon CBD at 48 Normanby Street, Yeppoon. The Second; The Family Practice, Zilzie is situated at Seaspray Resort Cocoanut Point Drive, Zilzie The Third; The Family Practice, Emu Park is situated on the Corner of Hill and William Street, Emu Park. The Principal pracitice also runs school based clinics at the St Brendan,s Catholic College, Adeliade Park Road, three mornings a week during school hours. Yeppoon Family Practice is an affilated member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and an approved Yellow Fever Vaccine provider, we are also members of the Travel alliance enabling us to provide quality travel medicine with up to the minute travel warnings and clinical information relevant for the traveller. All three practices have visiting Podiatrist, Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Diabetic Educator, Dietician, Asthma Educator, Mental Health and Enhanced Primary Care Nurses, for Chronic Disease Managaement and Pap Nurse Providers. Non Surgical Cosmetic procedures are performed at our Zilzie practice by Dr Kaverjit Gujral. He provides Botox and Dermal Fillers for both male and female patients in a safe and professional environment. Our cosmetic clinics are held at times to suit our clients as well as on Saturdays. All three of our practice are committed to providing high quality care to you and your family. All doctors at the practices are trained in the broad range of problems dealt with in general practice along with casualty styled medicine. We believe your health is best managed by continuous care from the same source, rather than taking your care to different practitioners. All doctors carry our regular education and training to keep abreast with up to date changes in the medical field. Yeppoon Family Practice and its branch practices are educational sites for Rural Pathway Medical Registrars, Medical Students from University of Queensland and James Cook Townsville as well as John Flynn Scholarship Medical Students.
